DESCRIPTION
This is a collection of fun proof-of-concept projects I created for Comcast’s Entertainment OS. It was a collaborative effort across teams, initiated by a group of designers with the goal of addressing specific challenges and improving the user experience.
Swipe
Transition
In the streaming app, users can swipe horizontally through the hero content. The challenge was to incorporate the signature “Glass TV branding concept” into this interaction. To address this, I explored applying glass-like reflection and refraction effects to enhance the visual appeal during the swipe transitions. Centrain haptic feedback was also incorporated to enhance accessibility.
Slideshow Recap
This passive TV slideshow experience was designed to display a collection of family photos and videos when the TV enters timeout mode, functioning seamlessly without interrupting the viewer. The animations and transitions were crafted to accommodate content of various sizes, ensuring a smooth and visually appealing presentation.
